What do budgies like in their cage?



Budgies are very friendly and nature adoptive birds. They love to play and doing funs. If you want to improve your relation with your budgies you have to give them small treats and here treats mean some entertainment in terms of toys. This will not only help you build up a relationship but also help you to easily hand tame your bird and increase its life span.

Budgie Mirror is a necessary and key toy for a lonely or single budgie because when there is a mirror in the cage budgie can feel the presence of another budgie against its own reflection which makes it sound and fly around in order to interact with the reflection of the image. This will not only overcome its loneliness but also increase its whistling and moving around activity which makes it more social toward its environment.
There are certain people who think a mirror is bad for budgies because they believe this is creating an artificial budgie and result in disappointment or in grief if the mirror is removed from the cage.





2- Foraging Toys For Budgies:

Foraging toys are the toys that allow your budgies to put efforts to get their food. Actually, these toys show you how much your budgie is intelligent and how much good learner your budgie is to find the way to get it food. There are different types of foraging toys that are available in the market. You can also make these toys at home from different fruits. 


3- Rope Perches for Budgies:

Rope toys for budgies are the most common toys because budgies love to climb up & down and around the cage. These toys are considered as necessary, most affordable and cheap parrot toys. 



4- Budgie Swings: 

Budgie Swing with rings is the second name of budgie entertainment. If there are no swings in the cage you will see that your budgies will be sitting on one side. Basically, swings help them to make balanced and this is very important for both male and female budgies because they require a lot of balance while mating.
5- Budgie Perches:

Your cage is incomplete without perches because in nature budgies sleep while sitting on perches at night. You can make this as one of the natural budgie toys by using branches of your garden tree.

Budgie Jungle gym is something like all in one. This includes all of the above 5 mention toys and it is best to use when your budgies are tame enough to fly free in a room.

What is half sider budgie?

Half sider is not genetic, it's a unique defect that occurs accidentally when two different yolks fertilize with two different sperms and then those two separately fertilized eggs fuse together. In birds, this happens exactly just before the eggshell forms around the zygote.
